Body Mass
Index (BMI) can be used to indicate if you are
overweight, obese, underweight or normal. BMI is calculated by using
the weight in kilograms divided by height in meters, squared.
It is
considered that a BMI between 18.5 and 25 to be an ideal
target for a healthy individual. If a BMI is 25 or above, the person is
considered overweight and at greater risk to develop health disorders like
cancer, high blood pressure and heart disease.
